Congratulations on reaching the semi final at the weekend lads!
I suggest we all get fit and focus on getting to a cup final this season and make it our top priority to bring the club their first piece of silverware since someone pulled the silver spoon out of Dippy's mouth many moons ago!
It is time to step it up gents

James Alan Diplock is great. Enought said.
As for the game the other day Dippy just wanted to jazz things up a bit. It did make for a better ending to the game!

i would just like to bring james (dippy) diplock to everybodys Attention.........this boy scores goals for fun unfortunately they are in his own net!!!!!!!!!!! They say that goals pay the rent, well if they do then Dippy will be living rent free for ten years, what a doughnut and a bad player. I just feel sorry for the goal keeper who had such an outstanding game and didnt put a foot wrong. As for Ravinder Hayer, in mid field, yes you are right, he is a bad player, thank you and goodnight. x x x

Comments:
For a long time Reevsey has been the apple of the Arlesey eye, the darling of the Athletic faithful, some have even called him the chosen one! A boy born just a stones throw away from the former Semtech Components Stadium never imagined being catapulted into the limelight at such a young age. A first team debut at 16 and his subsequent displays were a virtuoso blend of skill, balance and creativity that ultimately propelled him into the realms of superstardom. With fame came the many trappings of modern sports stars, namely the women (well questionable), the alcohol (unquestionable) and worst of all the egotism that dangers the town’s most precocious talent.
The story would be easy to conclude if Reevsey became Athletics forgotten man and joined the long list of legends that could have been so much more (Best, Maradona, Gascoigne, Collymore and Waters). As Reevsey revels in his own delinquency and the alcohol has lumbered him in the pile of Athletics has been, another star has been born…..
The man we are all referring to is the epitome of the Athletic dream, his tale is that of rags to riches, the proverbial underdog, a man who spent his whole life living in his best friend shadow, I am of course referring to Arlesey’s cross dressing sensation “Gibbo”. The floppy haired feline full back has stolen Reevesys limelight this season with notable Terry Butcher esq performances against teams like Renholt that will long in the memory.
The future is bright and the future is definitively Gibbo! He has all of Chris’s downfalls, speed, strength, shooting, womanizing ability, courage and never say die defending, although Reevey ironically posses all Gibbo’s shortcomings, namely skill, technique, creativity and he is comfortable in men’s clothing.
As a team I think we need to protect our young starlets, keep Reevesy off the booze, keep Gibbo out of Miss Selfridge and keep Terry away from max factor international products and together in unison we can hit our potential of a top 4 position.

Now I’m in full swing as team coach again, I can confirm (using my many years and experiences) that Rav is a very bad player!
Gibbo
If you ever bring anyone to training again, please make sure they don’t wear leggings! I’m trying to toughen you lot up and all I get is Adam Furness asking if his bum looks big in his latest thong, and you bringing continental players to training that are clearly in touch with their feminine side.
A good session last Wednesday players, let’s keep the spirit high this weekend and get the Ginger Wizard and Furness back on the score sheet.
Reeves, if you need picking up from your weekly AA meeting to get to the match let me know mate.
